English Conversation At a Job Interview - Beginner

Good morning. Please have a seat. Could you start by telling me a little about yourself?

Good morning, and thank you for the opportunity. I am currently studying marketing, and I enjoy work that combines analysis, communication and understanding customers.

What would you say is one of your main strengths?

One of my strengths is that I like to understand a problem before jumping to a solution. I ask questions, organise the information and then decide what to do.

Why are you interested in this role?

The role interests me because it offers practical exposure to customers, teams and business decisions. I also believe it would help me apply what I am learning in a real environment.

Can you give me a simple example of working with other people?

In a college project, our group had different ideas about the presentation. I helped divide the work, kept a shared deadline and made sure everyone had a chance to contribute.

What did you learn from that experience?

I learned that teamwork becomes easier when responsibilities are clear and people communicate early instead of waiting until the last day.

Do you have any questions for me?

Yes. I would like to know how new employees are supported during their first few months and what you expect them to learn first.
